This year another remarkable community activity was conducted by the Ambar Parks & Leisure Corp. It was a Gift Giving & Feeding Program last January 6, 2018. The DORCAS House was chosen as the recipient of this activity of kindness. It is an orphanage located at Brgy. Daga, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo that serves as a temporary shelter for abandoned, neglected and abused children. DORCAS House is currently administered by Ms. Mikayla Ramirez.

The group was welcomed by Ms. Ramirez who explained the history and background of DORCAS and the day to day activities at the orphanage. A short program was conducted with the presence of the generous President of  Ambar Parks and Leisure Corp., Engineer Fernando Suñer and his family.

There were 12 residents  in the orphanage of age ranging from 3 months to 18 years old who were the recipient of the gifts. They gamely participated in the games and happily partake their food prepared for them. It was heartwarming to watch the happy faces of the children as they enjoy .

Their loneliness and longing for their families were replaced with joy and laughter as the games continue. They were happy and excited throughout the entire activity. To show their appreciation, selected children of the house presented a dance number to entertain everyone.

Children are our treasure to be pampered with joy and their happiness can bring light to everyone’s heart. Ambar Parks & Leisure Corp. is truly a company that cares.
